Position Overview:


We are seeking an experienced and talented Azure Cloud Engineer to join our team. The resource will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. This role requires a deep understanding of Azure services, infrastructure as code, and best practices in cloud architecture. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading Azure cloud projects and ensuring the scalability, security, and performance of cloud-based applications.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

 

  • Design and Implement Automation Frameworks: Develop and maintain automation scripts and templates for provisioning cloud resources using tools like Azure DevOps, PowerShell, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.
  • Optimize Cloud Resources: Monitor and optimize the performance, cost, and scalability of cloud resources through automation.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with development and operations teams to automate and streamline operations and processes, including CI/CD pipelines.
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Identify and troubleshoot issues in automation processes and cloud resources.
  • Documentation: Document and update cloud automation processes and procedures for future reference.
  • Technical Support and Training: Provide technical support and training to other team members on cloud automation tools and procedures.

Required Skills

 

  • Cloud Platforms: Proficiency in major cloud platforms especially Azure(mandatory).
  • Automation Tools: Experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Terraform, Ansible, or Jenkins.
  • Scripting Languages: Strong skills in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • CI/CD: Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Familiarity with IaC practices and tools.
  • Containerization: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration is a plus.
  • Security: Understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in documenting processes and procedures.
  • Azure Administrator Associate - Certification
  • Good to Have: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert - Certification
  • Programming language like Python etc is a plus - Certification
