Job Title – Manager, Product Operations (Product & Innovation)

Role Summary
The Manager/Sr Manager, Product Operations is responsible for establishing execution excellence, scalable product practices, and operational rigor across the product organization.
This role requires prior hands‑on experience as a Product Manager, along with deep familiarity with Healthcare and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) domains. The individual will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Design, Data, and Operations leaders to solve systemic problems, define and operationalize meaningful KPIs, ensure consistency across products, and drive standardization where it adds value—without creating unnecessary process overhead.
This is a hands‑on leadership role that blends product judgment, operational leadership, analytics, tooling expertise (Aha, Pendo), and AI‑enabled ways of working.
Key Responsibilities
Problem Solving & Execution Leadership
• Act as a systemic problem solver, identifying recurring planning, execution, and prioritization challenges across product teams.
• Diagnose root causes across process, tooling, dependencies, and decision‑making gaps; design pragmatic, scalable solutions.
• Proactively surface risks, inefficiencies, and cross‑product issues before they impact delivery or outcomes.
• Step in to stabilize or unblock high‑impact, cross‑product initiatives, especially those spanning multiple RCM workflows.
Product Operating Model, Common Practices & Standardization
• Establish and continuously improve common operating practices across product teams, including planning cadence, prioritization, execution rituals, and review mechanisms.
• Maintain an astute eye for patterns and inconsistencies across products and teams.
• Drive standardization of practices, artifacts, and workflows where it improves clarity, speed, and decision‑making—while retaining flexibility where needed.
• Act as the steward for “how product work gets done” across the product organization.
Execution Excellence & Delivery Operations
• Ensure consistency across teams in:
○ Roadmapping and portfolio planning
○ Backlog health and prioritization
○ Dependency and risk management
○ Release and launch readiness
• Partner with Engineering and Program Management to improve delivery predictability and execution flow.
• Reduce execution friction by proactively managing cross‑team and cross‑product dependencies, particularly within complex RCM ecosystems.
KPIs, Metrics & Product Insights
• Define, build, and operationalize clear product and portfolio KPIs, including:
○ Delivery and execution health
○ Product adoption and outcomes
○ Operational efficiency and flow
• Ensure KPIs are consistently measured, reviewed, and used to drive prioritization and leadership decisions.
• Build executive‑ready dashboards and insights that clearly communicate progress, risks, and outcomes.
• Continuously improve metric quality and signal‑to‑noise ratio.
Tooling, Analytics & AI Enablement
• Own and optimize the Product tooling ecosystem, including:
○ Aha! for roadmaps, portfolio planning, and initiative tracking
○ Pendo (or equivalent) for product usage analytics and insights
○ ADO (Azure DevOps)( or equivalent) for execution and documentation
• Ensure disciplined, high‑quality use of product tools across teams.
• Drive adoption of AI‑assisted tools and workflows to improve efficiency in:
○ Product planning and prioritization
○ Insights generation and analysis
○ Executive and operational reporting
○ Documentation and operational workflows
• Evaluate emerging AI capabilities and enable practical, outcomes‑driven adoption within Product Operations.
Leadership & Enablement
• Lead and mentor Product Operations / Enablement talent as applicable.
• Coach Product Managers and product leaders on execution rigor, prioritization, and operating discipline.
• Act as a trusted partner to senior leadership during planning cycles, execution reviews, and escalations.
• Influence without authority across global, cross‑functional teams.
Skills & Qualifications
Required
• 10+ years of experience overall, with prior hands‑on experience as a Product Manager
• Experience in Healthcare technology, with exposure to Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) workflows
• Proven problem‑solving mindset with the ability to identify root causes and drive scalable solutions
• Demonstrated ability to define, build, and operationalize KPIs
• Strong judgment in identifying common patterns across products and driving standardization with intent
• Hands‑on experience with:
○ Aha!
○ Pendo or equivalent product analytics platforms
○ ADO Azure DevOps or equivalent tools
• Working knowledge of AI tools and AI‑enabled product workflows
• Strong analytical, systems‑thinking, and executive communication skills
• Proven ability to work effectively with senior and executive stakeholders
Preferred
• Experience supporting large, multi‑product RCM platforms
• Experience working with US‑based product and engineering leadership
• Exposure to portfolio governance, capacity planning, and funding models
• Experience enabling operational improvements through automation and AI‑driven efficiencies
