Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated API and Event Platform Engineers to join our dynamic team solving Agentic AI Enablement and Application Integration. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our application integration platform, ensuring seamless connectivity and information flow between various systems and applications using synchronous and asynchronous patterns with APIs and Events. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, experience with integration technologies (APIs and Events/Messaging), a passion for solving complex technical challenges, and deep customer empathy. Responsibilities:
- Support the event engine team in backend development associated with the Rules Engine.
- Develop and maintain a custom real-time rules evaluation system using C# microservices and T-SQL in an Agile/DevOps environment.
- Collaborate with a senior software engineer on scalable, high transaction, event-driven data processing systems.
- Work with direction and oversight to achieve sprint commitments and help the team meet objectives.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience as a .NET Developer with 4-6 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in C# programming language and the .NET framework.
- Experience with Dotnet core, and Rest API development, Open API Spec
- Knowledge of Asynchronous integration patterns
- Knowledge in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks/libraries (e.g., Angular, React) is a plus.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns.
- Database experience with SQL Server or other relational databases.
- Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an agile environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of C# / .NET.
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture.
- Experience with Agentic AI (Azure AI Foundry).
